Wooden Paravan inspired by the Peacock feather and a handfan. The concept behind this project was to create an object that provides privacy in the dark and also having the ability to control the amount of sunlight you need in your room during the day. 

 

The paravan comes in 2 forms. First, hung from the window form, which when is open, is supported my a metal material at the other upper end of the window. The other comes in a free style form, which could be placed anywhere depending on the user's preference. Can be used beside a balcony or any other privacy matter. This form of paravan is opened by the pulling mechanism at either ends. Its joints are tight enough to make it hold in place without falling. 

 

The material used for the Paravan is Sandel wood due to its fragrance and texture.
