Every art director in the office was tasked to create an artwork for a specific client we are servicing. Of the different types of art styles, I got clay from the drawlots and Max's Restaurant as client. I had drawn different sketches but this one was chosen by the bosses as it shows the history of the restaurant. From a mural, it was supposed to be animated, but got cut off from the client's project budget.
Still, I had fun doing this mural for 1 and 1/2 months. It was probably the most challenging artwork I ever did counting all the plates I did back in college. It's huge. It's a sculpture. It's heavy. And I did it all on my own. Whew.
