The Taking Action! Project is a national endeavour involving six Aboriginal communities across Canada. This document was developed for the youth who attended retreats in these communities where the focus was on HIV and AIDS prevention. Aboriginal youth at these retreats used traditional art forms and new media to create dialog about these issues. Taking Action! Youth Story documents the project from the youths’ perspective in the different Aboriginal communities and serves as a keepsake to remember the project.
