Antidote App for Tox

Antidote is an iOS client for Tox. It's an ongoing open source project already developed for a year.

These are results of numerous conversations and design ideas which follow the developing process. As I've been involved in this project from the very beginning, these examples represent all steps of design progress.

Brainstorming

It always starts with gathering requirements and features needed to be implemented in the app.
Sometimes it's definitely better to illustrate your thoughts to share and remember them. :)
Design sketches

The main idea of Antidote (as Tox) is privacy achieved through using peer-to-peer data sharing technology. Although it causes some additional problems with design, I've tried to simplify it to intuitive messenger UI. For example, I had to clarify the process of managing [incoming] friend requests and adding a new contact with toxID.
Mockups and wireframes

Next step is to transfer all screens from paper into digit. I usually use Balsamiq Mockups for that purpose.
It's kind of mobile engineering specifics: you draw tons and tons of mockups to illustrate each possible situation.
Finally implemented design

Feeling satisfied with your work is precious.
