In my graphic design class of the fourth semester our main project was to create a magazine printed on a risograph. The special thing about this printing system is the possibility to reach high speed in photocopying and printing and the limitation of only one color per print process. Photographs are in this case monochromatic half tone. We decided to portrait musicians with photographs and self-written texts by using two colors on the risograph: green and fluorescent pink. With this color combination in mind we chose “RHABARBERSALAT” as the title of the magazine, which means rhubarb salad. I also designed together with one of my fellow students the cover and the back.
