Obsessed by Scandinavian furniture design culture, designer Ze went to Copenhagen, Denmark for one and a half month studying. Inspired by Hans J. Wegner’s China Chair whose perfect ratio and visual lightness, she explored the different design approaches from her perspective. 

The lightness of the air chair breaks the previous concept of heavy handmade wooden chairs. The extreme thinness of its backrest and seat intend to play a visual trick. The "hug" feeling of the shape also brings a human personality to the piece of furniture.
