    What started out as a friendly responsive website, quickly escalated into a smart online recruitment platform for a boutique recruitment agency, and is a great of example of how strategic UX can transform a business and open up new opportunities. What started out as a friendly responsive website, quickly escalated into a smart online recruitment platform for a boutique recruitment agency, and is a great of example of how strategic UX can transform a business and open up new opportunities. Much more than a website, Education World is an online platform where teachers can keep their CV and availability updated, while searching and applying for locals jobs. Schools can publish job alerts and approve timesheets for temporary teaching staff.

Education World were something of a hit with local Primary Schools, where their friendly, personable approach worked wonders with under-resourced headmistresses. But Secondary Schools were the holy grail - where HR managers prefer the professionalism of larger corporate agencies.
The solution we delivered helped open doors to the Secondary School market without sacrificing everything they'd built up over the years. Some clever thinking and smart technology did the rest.
How could a boutique company hope to compete with much larger agencies without pretending to be one?
Leveraging Education World's database of 1500+ teachers, we created a simple search tool that allowed a recruitment agent to quickly shortlist 20 potential candidates for a given job, rank them in terms of suitability and experience and then auto-generate a glossy branded brochure of teachers, personalised to the school with a single click.
These personalised brochures have been a big hit with Secondary School HR managers. They allow candidates to be reviewed extremely quickly, in a consistent attractive and easy-to-read format.
