An exhibition concept based on augmented reality.
We made an interactive exhibition concept based on augmented reality. If you have a smartphone or a tablet you can try it out, right here!
Together with atelier goupal & renderdesign we created a digital display / exhibition system for client Designlabland. Because Sweden is one of the countries with most Smartphones we choose to work with augmented reality. This enabled us to create a changeable and very interactive display system.
Augmented reality (AR) is a live, direct or indirect, view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data. It is related to a more general concept called mediated reality, in which a view of reality is modified (possibly even diminished rather than augmented) by a computer. As a result, the technology functions by enhancing one’s current perception of reality. By contrast, virtual reality replaces the real world with a simulated one.
As a first subject space was chosen. Both as a creative platform but also and formost due to the future space tourists flying out of Kiruna.

We have just created the concept and the 3d-models, not the movies inside the gallery (if you try it out you will know what we mean). The movies are made by Flatlight Films, TSO Photography, Danny Cooke  and Evosia Studios. Thanks a lot for sharing your work!
How to try our interactive gallery, right here at Behance:
Use your smartphone or your tablet.

1. Activate Wi-Fi (log in to a wireless network).
2. Download the application "Junaio augmented reality" for free at Appstore or at Android Market.
3. Open the Junaio application and choose "Scan"
4. Scan the QR-code below these instructions and click "open".
5. Point the camera of your device on the images below the QR-code and enjoy!

We recommend that you use headphones to get the best sound experience!
Scan this QR-code with the "Junaio application-scanner" in your smartphone or on your tablet to enter our interactive space gallery.

We built a small mobile exhibition room in cardboard.
On our way to the place of presentation.
Finally at the right place. Now it's just to assemble the exhibition room.
To get a proof of concept we made an exhibition at a school in the city of Luleå. We let 30 students in the age of 11-15 try out the exhibition concept!
Instructions on how to use the augmented reality channel.
The exhibition room just had space for 5 people at the same time...
The exhibition concept was a great success. Not one student (!) left the exhibition before he/she had seen all the content inside the augmented reality channel.
Happy clients :)
Happy astronaut. Little did he know that he was going to be on the cover for this case study ;)
There is a solution to every problem...
Happy audience.
A happy meal after a successful presentation.
Unknown city from above on our way back to Stockholm.
