Apple Kid
Inspired by the music from the video game MOTHER 2, I wanted to explore the rhythmical relationship between shapes and sound.
Each individual object live and work like unique parts of a machine as they repeat their regular movement — simulating the repetitive cycles of nature. Chaos is brought upon by humans as they stomp their feet onto their homeland.
For some of the living shapes, I took reference to existing inspirational product designs from the Memphis Group and Gessato.
