~ The Autumn Reunion ~
The festival is celebrated during the mid-autumn season, 15th of the 8th month on lunar calendar. On the night, the moon is especially rounded, bigger in size and more luminance than any other day. Traditionally, people will go home for their family reunion. They put on the lanterns, sitting at their home backyard, having delicious mooncake, boiled water caltrops, while chit chatting to each other under the great rounded moon. Usually, some chinese tea and pomelo will be served as to neutralize the diet.
