Ever since 1977- I've been hooked on practically anything Star Wars. After reading the reviews of last week's D23 - Disney's convention / show and tell of upcoming properties and titles. One story stuck out more than others, and I had to seek more info about it, thanks to Blurppy.com - I found enough to quickly be inspired and open adobe illustrator for some quick vector play.
Just like the rest of us STAR WARS aficionados , I'm REALLY interested in how this pre-New Hope anthology will play out.
I REALLY like Kathleen Kennedy's description of what she intends the story line to be - more of a group of early rebels struggling through a tactical ground war in order to successfully steal the blueprints of the Death Star. I can only imagine the drama and action with Gareth Edwards directing and inviting Greig Fraser and Neil Corbould to add in their Zero Dark Thirty, Black Hawk Down , Saving Private Ryan ingredients to this much anticipated Rogue jambalaya!
I JUST CAN'T WAIT to sit back and be first in line to have a super sized bowl of it!
I'm hoping to do a series but that's for a later date. Keep your eyes open ...
Cheers & enjoy~

Above: Here's a ballpoint sketch of the second illustration - titled - "Eye on the Prize".
Below: Side by side view taken after I completed the vector - as you can see I made a few changes and included
a little bit more drama, for story telling.
