Hello, here I present this Chinese poetry poster design project. This poem is named Lu Zhai, wrote by the famous poet and painter Wang Wei (8th-century) in Tang dynasty. It depicts the quiet scenery during sunset in the empty mountain forest near his villa. This is design B for the project.
I want to make the first design modern and cute. I design the characters in the same grid, and paint the geometric figures in the character in different colors, green for rectangles.bright red for triangles, yellow for trapezoids, pink for all the other irregular shapes. In the background I used rounded rectangles to draw some clouds. In fact the clourds form the first character of the poem, Kong空, meaning empty in Chinese.
