We wanted to create a unique Pen Box. Our starting point was a rare and valuable timber. The main body of the box is made from Bog oak, with inlaid sterling silver and rippled sycamore. 

 

The hand crafted Pen Portmanteau made from a unique and rare 5,300 year old bog oak. The interior of the box is lovingly crafted in rippled sycamore. Solid silver collets have been precisely milled to locate and display the writing instruments.

 

This special edition pen box also features a hidden secret compartment which can be used to store two ink cartridges. A truly handsome and elegant object. Finished with five coats of clear wax oil.
