Ernie Ball
The name Ernie Ball is synonymous with guitar playing, known worldwide by professional music artists and individuals for having the best guitar strings in the business. Kicking off 2012, Ernie Ball came to metajive to revamp their site in celebrating their 50th year anniversary. The new site honors their past with a slew of history, images and stories to pay tribute for every major rocker including the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Eric Clapton. To highlight the strings, we mixed in videos, music players, news and history to remind the user that the product is the ‘hero’. Along with the new site we designed and built the ‘Tone Universe,’ which helps new and old players determine what string they could play depending on their ability, type of guitar, and chosen artist. We couldn't be happier with the work we have done for Ernie Ball to commemorate their 50th year anniversary.
