Daily Dose Campaign

We know that the truth is hard to swallow, so we are bringing it to you in bite-sized information with the Daily Dose.

Make Up Your Mind - This concept involves bringing light to what the media feeds us as a society and encouraging the individual to be able to make their own decision or stand about the topic.

When venturing into the many different types of conspiracy theories that exist across the media, they ranged from completely absurd to a provoking thought. Its purpose is to even just bring a new light of questioning the media to the individual so that it is carried across more news feeds they may encounter.

We are not encouraging a side to be chosen, when both sides are shown; as well as not indicating which side is right or wrong. We simply would love audiences to start questioning what they see and hear.

This is the society we want to create.

The articles within the magazine include already existing versions of articles accessible on the Internet.  The reasoning behind this is to keep the reality of the situations and topics that are currently being spoken about, and allow the readers to access these articles that are in the media already. There are different versions, so as to create questioning with no indication of which article is right or wrong.

The amount of text used in the articles against the contrasting white background comes across as overwhelming and forces the reader to take a step back to process it for a moment. This allows room to look for the hidden agenda of the stories, and to create a connection between them. The use of layers of text is to indicate the idea and questioning of how deep the secrets really go. This layering also gives the impression of different versions and perspectives, which is relevant to the variety of articles that have been incorporated. It then plays on what is being exposed, and what is being hidden; thus making the reader question and explore.
Our mission is to uncover the truth, inspire a generation of inquisitive culture and ultimately show people their power.
Knowledge is power and if you don’t make the choice, the choice is made for you.
Direct Mail
The purpose of sending these direct mailers would be to make a statement about the mindsets and oblivion of society and its youth, with the stories being fed to us from the media.  It also would have the ability to influence a perspective of those viewing it – to either fuel the passion and make a difference, or change an opinion to contribute and make a change.
As done by the original Chappies bubblegum, the wrapper contained plenty of intriguing ‘Did You Know?’ facts, which you could read as you began the chewing process. We decided to create a similar process but with a twist. These ‘Did You Know?’ facts were replaced with concerning conspiracies, injustices or current news topics. This not only creates awareness for topics being discussed but may also open the minds of the readers to follow up on the stories or question the realities of them.
Mall Poster

The poster is an imitation of a news poster, which is commonly seen on the street poles alongside the road. The beveled effect is to show a hidden meaning and another side to the headline, which is visible when the user takes a second glance or pays closer attention to the execution.
