    I don't recall much about this piece, what kind of paint was used, whether it had sketches or not. Most likely not, as work I did on my own at this point (this was in high school) I didn't preplan all too much, if at all. But I do remember I wanted to express the isolation I felt through the familiar isolated feeling I felt in certain settings. Tall walls, a window that is supposed to make you feel more open, but just looks out on an empty world, the window and floor seem to continue on endlessly, which is how being lonely feels, as if there is no way out of the cage you're in, or put yourself in.
