Make Yourself at Home?
International Day of Immigration

'Make yourself at Home?' was a small scale installation on the street in Paris' 20th district (Avenue Gambetta). The focus of this work is habitat and mobility and it consists of miniature dwellings made of paper and wire. The intimate spaces of these miniature habitats are covered using text from the migranta manifesto and drawings relating to traveling, packing belongings and home building.

The installation remained in this location all day and into the night allowing it to be weathered exploiting its ephemeral nature and highlighting the precarious nature of many migrants situations today.
