Ferrari Bike
What do you do when a Ferrari fan wants to have his/her own bike replicating the sponsor logos of the highly-profiled 2008 Formula One race team, but can't seem to find one? Well,....you create one! (I actually made 2 of them, but somehow lost the final pics of the second bike.) I took a Columbia and a Schwinn bike and replaced the factory paint with the colors and graphics found on the 2008 Ferrari Formula One race team.

Labeling all the cables so that I can place them in the same place when I assemble the bike after paint.
I took the original paint off down to the aluminum.
Self-etching automotive primer is applied.
After a white basecoat, followed by a red basecoast is applied, it's time to start laying out for graphics.
I should have masked off all the graphics to be painted white first, before applying the red basecoat, but I was in a hurry!
All graphics have been painted and a UV resistant automotive clear coat was applied.
