In this edition of Anniversary Blend I wanted to show the true artistry and complexity of the coffee. So I drew the siren from scratch and gave it a new look. Since I wanted the handcrafted nature of the blend and the boldness of the flavor to come through, I used a very organic line work, texture, bright colors and lots of detail. The process was long, with lots of sketches and type treatments. Once the concept was picked, I knew I wanted the ability to manipulate color and details later stages of the design, so I painted the colors and linework separate and then put it together in Photoshop. This is by far one of my favorite coffee bags I've designed.
