This project was inspired by both the film and novel by Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club, and takes lines of dialogue from both. Instead of going with a more traditional way of exploring this scene, I wanted to focus on the relationship between the Narrator and Tyler Durden, and illustrate that through type. The RGB splits in the type and the fractured, glitchy movements are reflections of the two characters’ connectedness, and hint in subtle ways that they are the same person.
