The term ‘Khoj’ means ' A search' . This collection draws inspiration from the cultures of the colonial man and the tribal man and the distinction and combination of the two.
The collection uses 3 stories  to develop the  garments.

CAMOUFLAGE - Tribal life in a modern society is a paradox . The tribes hide themselves from predators , evil spirits etc by camouflaging themselves with the nature . Even today they have to do the same . However their predators have changed . Its the modern man hunting them down . Yet the tradition of " camouflage " with the nature has continued.

THE THOUGHTS - The tribal man's destination of living is the most isolated  the world is , the reason as to why their beliefs have prevailed without any interruptions . The colonial man on the other hand is living under the pressure of the society . This society has several scientific ways , thus causing their beliefs and practices to fluctuate .

STAINED SKINS - The tribal man and the colonial man have two dramatically opposing worlds. One that is destined to dominate and one that would dissappear . The tribal man uses his body as a canvas to form expressions of their culture and traditions . The colonial man on the other hand uses clothing as  a big part of their identity.
' Stained skins ' is a combination of the colonial sillhoettes with the idea of using body as a canvas.

The collection mainly consisted of garments with colonial sillhoettes with tribal work done on the textiles.
