The Presentation film was made for Saint-Petersburg architectural bureau «Studio 44». The film was necessary to present the Studio 44 design project of a multifunctional building situated in the center of London in Southwark Street. The Developer of the project is Henry George Holdings Ltd. The presentation film had a production title «Gagarin Square» or «Southwark Square». The video creation had a few goals. Firstly, the presentation video must show the succession of facade design with Russian national architecture. Secondly, the film must show a similarity of the building’s tower with a space rocket. Thirdly, the video must show that there are theater, academy of art, restaurant and other functional places in the building. Fourthly, the presentation film must show how the new building will look like in the context of panorama of London and that it will have the form of a festive performance. The creation of the video was conducted during an extremely short time period. The film targeted to be presented to the local (London) administration. A little bit ironical, unpredictable direction of the film corresponds to European style of presentation of architectural projects. Another feature of the presentation is a look at London architecture from the native point of view. For this purpose in the film the video shooting of London is used along with 3D-model of the future building that was integrated in the film.
