The Art Directors Club of Denver asked Denver motion design collective Friends of Mine to create the intro and category animations
for their annual award show at the Curtis Hotel in Downtown Denver, CO.
Friends of Mine took the opportunity to try something new. By applying an assorted array of Neodymium magnets to ferro fluid, iron shavings,
ball-bearings and other various bits and pieces, we were able to create some interesting magnetic effects.
We used both a Canon 5D MkIII and Canon 7D w/ a 100mm, 90mm, and 60mm macro lenses to get up close to the curious effects of magnetic fields.
Hello Lovely assisted with primary photography as well as animating "Public Service" & "Self Promotion" sections.
Hello Lovely was also tasked with creating a camera slider rig.
