Coca-Cola tweet machine

Exhibition & Signage

Nominated as one of Campaign & Twitters most successful social media campaigns of 2015

London is a fantastic city, but we often get caught up in the rat race and forget to take a minute to enjoy ourselves. With this in mind I set out to create an experience that targets areas where the people of London are least happiest; train stations.
The ‘Tweet for Happiness’ vending machine was created to disrupt a commuters day, to distract them from their late train or packed journey home. Whilst showcasing the new Coca-Cola branding and creative for 2015, the vending machine holds four limited edition Coca-Cola designed T-shirts.
These T-shirts are exclusive to London and could only be obtained with a tweet. Commuters simply needed to select which Coca-Cola flavour was their favourite and tweet with the correct hash-tag. Each T-shirt had it’s own hash-tag.
Not only did commuters tweet to receive a T-shirt but many of them also shared photographs of their T-shirts via Twitter. This gave a great social connection with the audience and enabled us to engage with everyone who took part and give them a personal thanks from @coca-colaGB. As th sole Art Director on this project, I created and developed this concept from start to finish working with a designer to bring the concept to life. Campaign Magazine also named this campaign as one of the best social media camapigns of 2015.
