On Saturday, May 16th, The Art Institute of Tucson Culinary Department held its second annual Ai Chopped! competition. Sixteen culinary students entered Ai Chopped! with the goal of winning the event. The competition was a single-elimination event covering three courses, with four mystery ingredients included in each round. All the student competitors showed creativity and the ability to work under pressure while producing restaurant-quality dishes.

At the end of the competition the results were as follows:

1st Place - Richard Tostado
2nd place - Lorrianne Sacco
3rd Place - Zachary Miranda
4th Place - Michae Lemme
5Th Place - Anna Warr
