Sometimes projects come along that just seem to gel really well with our team from the word go. Smash was one of those projects.

Working with a motivated, design savvy client and a talented extended team of electronics, software and app engineers, in a rapid development focused on a Kickstarter launch, has been both challenging and rewarding.

Smash is a lightweight wearable wristband that utilises incredibly precise sensors to collect detailed data about a tennis player’s shot technique. An intuitive smart phone app then provides easy access to technique analysis and personalised recommendations.

The Smash app delivers focused tips and practice paths based on your ability. It provides specific goals to unlock and achieve, all designed to make practising & playing more rewarding.

By taking around 250 measurements per second, Smash records a player’s movements and stroke in minute detail to create an incredibly accurate picture of their game and then provides insights on how to improve.
