txtsim is an interactive texting and driving simulator. The user is prompted to reply to a message via an on-screen mobile interface, and then given the distance they would have traveled while distracted. The site uses jquery to scale the background video with the browser window, build the mobile phone interface, and calculate the distances. To see a live version, visit www.mattdavidsmith.com/txtsim
I created the site from scratch beginning with concept and wireframes, moving to visual design in Illustrator, and finally coding the site in HTML, CSS and Javascript.
