These are a few of my painted compositions on 36"x48" canvas panels. They all explore play with type, design, and acrylic on the horizontal format.

This is originally a 5 panel painting but 3 are called out displaying the word "Exhibit". In the center is an telescope turned upside down symbolizing a look beyond theme.

"ELEMENTALLY DYNAMIC TYPOGRAPHY"
This piece was part of a group show in San Francisco at a bar called Element Lounge. I played with the word and conjured up the title, fusing a dynamic layout of type play set on a horizon of designed craft paper that serves as the landscape for the composition.

"ORANGE PARADISE"
This was a piece for my brothers new house that was originally going to be on an orange wall. This is mainly inspired by his story and his love for his frequent vacation destination, Maui. A warm palette was chosen from the warm sunsets and "05" is the year. The 4 palm trees represents his family while "Maui" sits atop a block letter "fndtn",-meaning foundation.
