Trace xx: Personal Cartographies

These are the first of a series of prints created using a modified Arduino-based GPS tracking unit. Each map consists of one day of the artists daily life. Using this unit creates a map which is precise, yet unpredictible. Any time the unit is stationary, the signal will jump, causing a scribble to appear at the most frequented locations. This action causes a pattern similar to a constallation to appear on the abstracted maps. The maps are based in Winnipeg.
