Len Small from Nautilus emailed me and asked me to do a project on the subject of Dark Matter. I'm a science geek which led me to live in euphoria for a few weeks while this project was being worked on.

Unfortunately, the story that the waterfall image before was to be used for was killed. The bright spot was that the magazine used it for the end-cover. I'm so glad it was used! It is a recent favorite painting of mine. Along with the killed story, the last image which was supposed to look like the waterfall running down the gutter of the magazine wasn't used.

Still, it was a blast to work with such a great and enthusiastic art director and be able to do a project that closely aligns with my interests.
