Active used to be a free magazine published by Chili Publications for the customer sports chain Intersport. It was available in all Intersport stores as well as in cafes and in sports environments. In a short time, the magazine had earned a good reputation in the market, and many top athletes decided to participate in a portrait interview in Active. Among them Therese Johaug, Aksel Lund Svindal, Kjetil Jansrud, Emil Hegle Svendsen, Tarik Elyounoussi, Petter Northug and many more. The goal was to make as good editorially free magazine, that practitioners and industry in general would see us as an editorial and non-commercial, something we achieved.
