GIEŁDA was an event organised to enable young designers, who take inspiration from folk aesthetics and traditional crafts, to meet with one another, show their work to other people and talk about their intrests and passion for creation.
 
Being a part of the 5th International Youth Creativity Festival Folk Inspirations it gathered visitors from all over the world. GIEŁDA was set in post-industrial spaces of Art_Inkubator (Łódź, Poland) and besides the main event, there was also a design exhibition "Złota Łódka Design 2015". 
We wanted the event visual identity to be simple, yet distinctive and eye-catching. Traditional motif of stripes, combined with modern-looking, almost neon, colors suited our idea well. Scattered squares pattern was used as a reference to the main identity of the Festival Folk Inspirations. 
Złota Łódka Design 2015 consisted of the works submitted to the design contest of the same title.
