This is a jewelry box I designed and made for the Wentworth Mens Varsity Crew Team's silent auction to benifit the athletes. This box was made entirely from scrap pieces of wood from the Wetworth Industrial Design model shop. the frame of the box is cherry and the marqquetry is maple, sepele and oak. Instead of hinges and hardware, for this box I chose to use magnets to hold the lid in place.
