ABOUT:

Fasada is a windows and doors specialty store in Burlington, Ontario. They originally found me after seeing my 'Come In We're Awesome' sign in the window of other shops, and contacted me through my Etsy store to have a custom neon pink version made to coordinate with their store colours. This lead to other work, photographed with more details below.

My parody on the traditional Open sign, this has been for sale in my Etsy store for several years and has been customized in many different colours. It now hangs in stores all over the world, as close as Toronto, Ontario and as far as Hong Kong. This sign was recoloured from the standard red Awesome to a neon pink, matching their new store colours.

A custom Store Hours sign printed on the same 4mm coroplast material as the Open sign, seen hanging in their doorway below.

Two differend designs of small postcards to promote sale items in the store, including one which I designed with an 80s-inspired lyric choice 'Take Me Home Tonight', both printed in the same neon pink and white colour scheme in the same fonts as those used on the Open sign.

A set of To Do lists to give clients, customers and leave in gift bags. These were printed at a Canadian print shop specializing in niche paperstock and print items. The design originally read 'Get a Handle on your To Do List', playing on the fact that they sell doors, but the client requested it be changed to 'Create Windows of opportunity when you cross off your to-do list'

I also designed a set of greeting cards to send clients and suppliers. This design played off of the doors angle, with a sentiment in a watercolour brush typeface that reads 'Fasada a-doors you' (in place of 'adores'). This was printed on a heavy matte cardstock with their shop information on the back and a pink watercolour heart highlighting the logo.
