Vector were asked initially to create the branding for Get Splat Happy, a new Yorkshire based business specialising in art & craft sessions for kids under 11.
The design was to be playful but professional and after we decided on creating a recognizable icon for the company, Happy the alien was born.
The client was so pleased with the branding we were then commissioned to provide a full design and build service for their new website as well as designing her printed flyers.
The website was exciting but challenging for the team as it had to appeal to both parents and children so the decision was made to split the site into two separate sections. The grown zone includes the fun element of the brand alongside the important session information for parents and Happy Corner is the interactive fun side for the children. Happy corner takes you on a ride through space to visit different planets, planet play features a space invaders inspired flash game we created, Downloadia is full of images to print and colour, bookmarks and a guide for paper aeroplanes and eARTh is a showcase of the children’s session artwork.
