Around the Market Hall, the spaces around the railway stations in Leszczynki in Gdynia or Chylonia are filled by microstalls where you can often find masterwork handicrafts created on the previous afternoon or some freshly picked tomatoes from a garden allotment.

This kind of activity allows vendors / craftsmen / allotment gardeners to lead dignified lives, but also to have a goal and an excuse to keep contact with other people. They become an integral part of the street and neighbourhood landscape.
Through the project "Nano-trade" we would like to introduce this way of selling to the downtown in Gdynia - on the one hand by designing a mobile, lightweight stand tailored to the needs of such sellers and on the other hand, by developing simple rental system for those stands to stimulate this undertaking through the city.

Project was designed for "Networks" exhibition for Gdynia Design Days 2015 organised by Gdynia Design Centre.
