Student Work
Flagler College, 2005
Overview
The following are student projects completed at Flagler College. They include an annual report, magazine article, ad campaign, and typography book. At Flagler, we did not work in groups, but held biweekly critiques with classmates and professors which were invaluable.
InDesign vs. Quark Ad Campaign
Ad campaign to argue the merits of using InDesign, which was a relatively new program at the time.My concept played up the idea that it was part of a larger software family and it would work seamlessly with other Adobe products in a way that Quark could not. The project contains a double truck ad and 2-sided poster.

Annual Report: Anthropologie, Connecting
This project came together once I found the perfect texture of the border bars. I scanned and digitally manipulated a fabric swatch. Printed on matte off-white paper.
Magazine Article
2-page magazine spread from a student project focused on Jon Stewart's success on The Daily Show.
Typography Book: Typology for Dummies
This project challenged me to create a book that could teach typography in a way that it would interest college students. My concept was built around light-hearted presidential humor, inspired by the then-president, George W. Bush.
