Special effects abound in the new website for digital movie studio Cinepro Pictures.
Cinepro Pictures is a digital movie studio and one of the production companies operating under the umbrella of Maxsar Partners. When the parent company decided to create a network of websites for each of their holdings, I was brought in to create a new user interface to unite them all.
The project’s goals were to publicize the company’s movies and drive interest and fans to the brand by featuring trailers, behind the scenes, interviews, contests, and so on. While each individual site would have its own content, structure, and color palette, they would all share a common interface in order to make in-network transitions as smooth as possible.
To make all this happen I came up with a modular design language that provided much needed structure, while staying out of the way and allowing the highly visual content to shine. The end result is a scalable website that is modern, sleek, and highly addictive.
