    paper-cut illustrations developed for a pop-up shop
The Christmas Spirits
Bizarre Christmas was a pop-up shop developed by ESAD MA students, which took place in "Maus Hábitos" (Oporto), on December 10, 2011. Students were challenged to create a Christmas Bizarre bazaar exploring the theme and the artifacts associated.
The Chirstmas Spirits is a project that reveals the origin of Christmas traditions through the pagan festivals that were taking place in Europe by mid-century IV whose rites were later absorbed by the Catholic Church. It consists of three artifacts that illustrate three different parties: Saturnalia, Yule and Brumalia. The paper-cut illustrations were made by hand and individually.
