Introduction
Blanc Concept Store is a creative business proposal for my final year project in Lasalle College of the Arts.
A creative business proposal, Blanc Concept Store is curated to enhance women’s individual style and feel confident in it. By offering them minimal, timeless, and detail oriented products which are very limited in the current market of Jakarta. Various styling services are also available in our store to enhance further our customer’s style. This made us to be the first store in Indonesia to offer the demanded products and services.
Paper In the Wind, 2014, Ken Matsubara
Art Direction
Indonesian women loves minimalistic clothing to portray class level without getting too much attraction. Good quality and designed minimalistic clothing in Indonesia is very limited, with up to date style. The art direction then being decided to be inspired by the original source of minimalistic movement, Japan. I took visual inspiration from Ken Matsubara's artwork, Paper in the Wind, then apply the idea of stillness and the use of negative spaces throughout all my creative direction. Mostly on Blanc's campaign shoot shown below.
Blanc Campaign Shoot
Art Director: Ang Helena Faustine // Photographer: Yehezkiel Ryan Aldo  // Stylist: Illene Faustine // Hair and Makeup Artist: Rosalina Boedijono // Model: Oksana V (Wynn Modeling Agency)
Campaign Shoot
By taking many visual references of Japanese minimalism, Blanc's campaign shoot was carefully planned to create the stillness motion, modern styling, and international branding. We created it in a GIF format so that campaign shoot can be used to liven up the store's ambience.  The 5 frames are representing the main 5 styles that is seen on modern Indonesian women: Romantic, Basic, Androgynous, Elegant and Edgy.

PS. Clothes were sourced from Indonesian designers, the brands that will be curated into our concept store.
