With this project I want to capture the hidden aesthetic of language.
In general, words are compositions of letters. For creating the forms that are essential for those compositions, I worked with the movement when writing a letter. The colours and gradients give an (hidden) explanation about which organs of speech you use to speak out loud and in what exact order you use them.
In particular, Brooklyn, which is regarded as a city with a high degree of linguistic diversity, and therefore a city where language is from prime importance I wanted to create an artwork that arises out of a contemporary language that communicates to all people through it's appearance.
