seven years ago a women named elisabeth died allone in her villa. since then the house is abandoned and decays with all her belongings in it. what remains of a life?
the concept of the book was to create the feeling of walking through the house and discover her very personal things by yourself. therefor the pages changes between photographs of the house, stacks of old letters, pictures and postcards as well as slides elisabeth took herself. to transfer the feeling of grabing these different things, diverse materials and formats were used.
in the context of the announcement for the dummy award shortlist, the book will be exhibited in cities as dublin, rome, oslo, madrid, göteborg and some more.
