... Porque en el fondo de eso se trata la publiciad; engañar. Con elegancia, con decoro y hasta con cierto encanto hipnótico, pero engañar al fin. Y porque Don Draper y su pandilla llevan este traje con una coherencia absoluta en cada dimensión de su vida, este afiche busca rescatar, en un golpe de vista, en una imagen sintética, este juego engañoso de mostrarte algo que no es lo que parece pero tampoco parece lo que es.
Recreando la estética de la "era dorada" de los locos de Madison avenue, estos son algunas de las ideas que surgieron tratando de resumir la serie en una sola imagen.

... 'cause in the end, that's what advertising is all about; deceiving. Gracefully, politely and even with some sort of hypnotic charm, but still deceiving. And also because Don Draper & his gang wears that suit with an absolut consistency in each dimension of their lifes, this poster tends to recover, in a single shot of sight, with few elements, this tricky game of showing something that isn't what it looks like but neither looks like what it is.
Recreating the aesthetics of the so called "golden age" of the Madison avenue's nutheads, this are some ideas that appeared when trying to sum up the whole story in a single image.
