Ooredoo Group corporate greeting
In 2013, Ooredoo Group (previously known as Qtel) updated their brand and consequently
their design guidelines, to better appeal to an international and younger audience.

The new and extensive guidelines mainly revolved around three primary visual elements;
the use of CMYK red as the main color, a circle and diamond grid derived from the positive
and negative spaces of the logo, and the use of clean and modern typography.
Direction one is inspired by the brand's recent use of paper cut-out illustrations which were introduced
to the guidelines in 2014. The custom-made typography and the use of multiple dye-cut layers, create depth and dynamism while breaking away from the usual corporate feel of Ramadan greeting cards.
Direction two is a more traditional approach to corporate greeting cards. The diamond, which is one of
the brand's main visual elements, was the inspiration behind the custom made type. The delicate perforated envelope contains the card which is printed on silver paper.
