We wanted the image to pair the ideas of 'Decoding Cancer' and 'Mutating DNA'. The moodboard also included digital inspired binary references to add technological elements into it.

This artwork was inspired by the works of astrophysics professor Ramirez-Ruiz. With reference to his gamma-ray bursts computer simulations, intense colour, contrasts, and stars were added in detail.
How Researchers are Teaching Computers to Understand Sarcasm
 
This final image relates to an article about teaching computers the nuances of human language. The idea is that we can program cellphones, laptops, and other electronic devices to detect sounds that drive ideas like sarcasm, sadness, uncertainty, and other human characteristics. The brief was to create a bold, ethereal image that portrays these ideas and elements – of human thought, electronic programming, and sound.
Growing Food and Community

As the article focuses on organic farming, we imagined the illustration to be fresh and represents the wonderful nature of photosyntesis.
