Digital art based on organic forms and photographic pictures of textures. This poem was inspired by Michael Glaser's poem:
The Presence of Trees
by Michael S. Glaser
I have always felt the living presence
of trees
of trees
the forest that calls to me as deeply
as I breathe,
as I breathe,
as though the woods were marrow of my bone
as though
as though
I myself were tree, a breathing, reaching
arc of the larger canopy
arc of the larger canopy
beside a brook bubbling to foam
like the one
like the one
deep in these woods,
that calls
that calls
that whispers home
This is an ongoing piece of work, and will be part of a series of visual notes and sketches that go on for a series of paintings.
