GOT YOUR BACK MOVEMENT OUTDOOR BOOTH
The first ever booth backdrop for Got Your Back utilizes a number of mediums to accomplish a very polished textured worn look. This booth would travel to 25 states over the summer of 2011, so it needed to be durable and easy to setup and take down.
The challenge was to make an amazing backdrop, but make the booth super functional as well. We created 8 boxes each equip w/ 6 shelves to store the organizations t-shirt products. Also, we created 4 shadow box frames that held actual school uniforms to reinforce the front of booth visual.
On the backdrop we used wood lettering that we stained, painted & distressed. We carved the organizations logo into the barn wood & then painted with acrylics. Roofing nails were used to spell the word changes with white yarn used to tie the word together. The nail heads create a shimmer to the word, as well as, a 3d effect.
Materials: 100 year aged barn wood, wood, roofing nails, yarn, acrylic paints, plexiglass, stain, polyurethane, sandpaper
