This project is a set of cards that contains the portraits of graphic designers. On the front side, there are photographs of designers’ shoes, and on the other side, there are words that describe the person’s day when the photograph was taken. A portrait normally includes person’s face. Shoes are generally not considered an important part of it. They are the part, that means to be marginal of the main text (person). However, one is able to see what the person’s day is like, by paying attention to those marginal things. Several words on the back side of the card act as the marginal one for the marginal(shoes) ones. Therefore, in this project, you can read stories without the main text(face), but with the paratext(shoes) of it.
