Task: As a big fan of the Borderlands game series, I wanted to create a fun mock advertisement for The Handsome Collection. Something quirky and silly that would be in the spirit of the fans and the tone of the games.

Goals: To create a professional-looking, light-hearted, short video advertisement.

Challenges: The video features a hand-painted, windup Handsome Jack, which was purchased from Toys R Us as a Noggin' Bopper and then transformed. In order to create a more seamless loop, I took thirty seconds of video and then cut it down to a two-second loop from the burst of energy that came from just winding the toy up. I wanted the text to be discernable against a star field background, and limited it to an all-caps san serif to be easier to read.
