The following booklet represents the culmination of several weeks of design work. First, an object, or "pet" was selected to be featured in a course of photoshoots. The object was to be seen as a symbol for communication. Next a topic was identified to go along with the symbol. A complementary essay based on the topic and symbol was chosen for the final booklet project.
After performing a visual survey of brochures, the project commenced with a skeleton layout exploring grid structure, pacing and content. A few drafts later produced this booklet. The size is 8x10. Fonts used were Bebas Neue, CapitoliumNews 2, Myriad Pro and Fira Sans.
